If we continue to invest funds in a very stretched acute system, a community system that does not have the capacity to support the acute system and step-down facilities and a lot of other support services, we will continue to get the same result. My strategy is to manage the commitments we are making, build confidence with the public and the Government, get extra funds in the coming year, in particular, for Sláintecare, and invest them in a new way of delivering services.
