I can confirm that the Departments of Health and Public Expenditure and Reform did not sign off on the managed equipment service as we did not feel the case for it was sufficiently strong. We are going with the traditional route. The amount of money set aside in the budget is for that traditional procurement. The decision does not have a budgetary implication.
