If the bank were looking at a customer-centric approach, it would say to its customers that if they spent money on independent financial advice outside of the tracker mortgage examination to convince the bank it had done wrong to them and their families, then the bank would cover that cost. It should not take me, letters or the bank's customers to tell the bank it should be doing the decent and right thing but it is not doing it.
