The generation analysis statement produced last year outlines a potential 57% increase in demand in the Republic of Ireland over the next ten years. That is a greater rate of increase than we have ever seen before. We need to be prudent about it. We have developed options around open-cycle gas turbines as one of a number of options within the capacity mechanisms.
