I am giving the clarification.

This is not a request from the Committee on Public Accounts. The committee has not yet decided what questions to put to the witness. This is a request from one member, which is not representative of the Committee on Public Accounts. I will probably refer the request to An Garda Síochána, and it will be for the members of the committee to decided whether to put these questions formally to the witness. When a member raises an issue here he or she is speaking on his or her own behalf, not on behalf of the committee at this point in time.
