My point is that if we are looking for value for money and better outcomes, including a reduction in the recidivism rate, the cost-benefit analysis, if one is looking at it purely form that point of view, tends to suggest it is a really decent investment given that it is costing on average €68,000 to incarcerate someone who is likely to go on and repeat the behaviour if it is not modified. Of the 17 it is hoped to recruit, seven have been recruited. When is it hoped to have the full complement and will there be a second round then?
