Let us consider the Department believed it to be only a short-term measure prior to Christmas because it had anticipated housing people in direct provision centres. Were these figures anticipated? Are they scheduled costs for the Department? If that was the cost in the first quarter of the year, potentially, it will cost between €12 million and €14 million more to provide accommodation in hotels for the full year.
