Screening is slightly different in that we are screening a largely well population. A cohort of women who were identified have earlier recalls under the programme. For example, people are referred to colposcopy might have a priority. However, screening is different from, for instance, being on a waiting list for an acute hospital orthopaedic outpatient appointment.
