Mr. Fergal Mulligan:

-----so it is effectively 35 years, to ensure the company does not turn anyone off. In year 26, for example, if some person's wire is cut or severed by a shotgun or some such event, the company still will be required to fix it under an extra ten years of the contract. Consequently, that house or farm will continue to get service at no cost to us. We achieved that through negotiations. On the 1,500 pages, it is a 25-year contract, with an extra ten years to honour a service to every customer it has connected at year 25 for another ten years. That is not relevant to a retendering process, it was just an add-on we had to the existing contract.
