That is good. Mr. Mulligan or someone else mentioned 500 m as the length of a cable. I cannot recall the exact sentence but at present, in rural areas there may be a box at one point and then another box at another point up the road but the distance to reach the house in between could be another 700 m or 800 m, by the time one gets to it via the driveway, laneway, or farm. Such rural dwellers probably would have to incur a heavy cost to get this service to their house if they are not in the amber area. If they are in the amber area, does this plan bring the service to the house or to the edge of the public roadway? What is going to happen? The State cannot be expected to pay to get services into everybody's private house. I hate to say it but when one comes to the edge of my property, it should be my job to take it from there. Regardless of how I wish to bring it into my house, the taxpayer should not have to pay for it.
