There is the counterargument. I refer to Eir's roll-out of broadband to 300,000 premises. That firm moved into an area where it felt there would not be much competition, if any. One can look at this both ways. The map would indicate to operators that there is not a high-speed broadband provider in that area of 84,500 premises.
