The Deputy is correct that there is €339 million provided to the Department. My understanding is that from the rural fund we got €7.381 million for heritage and €3.86 million for the Gaeltacht. Many of our projects are in rural areas. In respect of Cork, there was funding of €5.4 million in arts grants in 2018, including to the Cork Butter Museum, Cork county council, Briery Gap, and the Sirius Arts Centre. West Cork Arts Centre got €1,272. Funding went to St. Peter's Cork Leisure World, Cork Opera House, the National Sculpture Factory, Graffiti Theatre, Firkin Crane, the Everyman Theatre, the Cork Arts Theatre, and the Glen Theatre. There is a long list of projects that were funded in Cork. There were also built heritage grant payments to the old schoolhouse in Newmarket, and to projects in Macroom, Carrigaphooca, which is where my grandfather was born, Rossacon Newmarket, Myrtle Grove, Emmet Place and a few more. A substantial amount was given from the structures at risk fund to Castle Bernard and to the charcoal burning house. Many grants are being given to many things. These are grants from our Department to show how much we do rurally. The rural fund will fund our national parks as well.
