The overall review of local property tax is being led by the Minister for Finance, but I suspect it probably will. In terms of timing, 30 September is the date by which local authorities must make their decisions on variations to local property tax rates, while decisions on budgets generally extend from October into November or, in some cases, December. However, I suspect it will be finished before then.
