This would be drawn to my attention as an issue but the details of how long a delay might be are not drawn to my attention. I am interested in systemic issues. It is down to the audit committee, working with the chief executive and the internal audit function in the local authority, to address the issues. If the issue affects more than one local authority then, from a governance and oversight perspective, it is of interest to us.
