That is fine. I am just wondering whether we should incorporate some form of counselling, as it would give the best chance of never having to use such an emergency provision. However, one has to balance that with the fact that most people do not think about it. Perhaps they should but it is a simple fact that very often they do not. If we put the two together, that would probably seriously minimise the risk of the emergency provision being used, while ensuring that all parties are well aware of the emergency provision. That would avoid a scenario where somebody could get to day 61 of the pregnancy and say she was not aware of it. There may be a role for counselling, although my initial reaction is that it is not necessarily a brilliant idea. It would be useful, however, to extend the legislation to encompass that scenario because counselling would make a little more sense in that context.
