If there were to be a dispute on the operation of our current existing east-west connector from north Dublin to north Wales, would the British Government accept the European Court of Justice as the final arbiter in terms of the European legal system? Would it accept the jurisdiction of the court regarding any other matter, such as its ongoing presence in a developing north-west regional European electricity market?
