The Government made its decision in December. What we were seeking was an assurance that everything was tied down in the process and that nothing had got into the process that should not have got in. The report from PwC will be a more in-depth exercise that examines what weaknesses within the process, if any, existed; how it happened; whether there was any means by which it could have been prevented; and whether there is any learning for the future. Both reports go over the same ground but one is quite distinct in its focus. One is trying to quality assure and confirm the outcome of the GMP process while the other is standing back and examining whether anything could have been done differently.
