The minutes of the meetings of 12 and 19 December 2018 have been circulated. Are they agreed to? Agreed.

Before we commence the main business of the meeting, I wish to deal with a number of items of correspondence. No. 2019/373 is a letter received from the Journal Office regarding the Aircraft Noise (Dublin Airport) Regulations Bill which will be the subject of a meeting after this one.

No. 2018/37, (a) and (b), is a letter received from the clerk to the Joint Committee on European Affairs. It is proposed to note this item of correspondence. Is that agreed? Agreed.

No. 2019/375 is an email received from Mr. Kevin Doyle in the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport. It is proposed that the committee reply to him to request that the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport liaise with the various bodies in advance of the Minister appearing before the committee for the periodic review of the implementation status of the recommendations made in its report on the accessibility of public transport for people with disabilities. Is that agreed? Agreed.

No. 2019/376 is an email received from Deputy Ruth Coppinger. The items mentioned have been included in our work programme for 2019.

No. 2019/377 is an email received from the office of the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Deputy Ross. I understand the Minister is keen to approve the appointment of the chairperson designate of the Marine Casualty Investigation Board as soon as possible. It is proposed, therefore, with the consent of the committee, that the meeting be scheduled for 30 January. Is that agreed? Agreed.

No. 2019/378 is an email received from the Football Association of Ireland apologising for representatives not being available but expressing their availability to come on 20 February. Is it agreed to reschedule the meeting for that date? Agreed.
