I have a question for Met Éireann. Professor Ray Bates is a former head of research in Met Éireann. I wish to refer to what he said in an article published in the Irish Farmers' Journalon 22 December about a recent alarming report compiled by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, IPCC, on the difference between a 1.5° and 2° Celsius increase in global warming. He said "the IPCC SR1.5 report does not merit being regarded as a scientifically rigorous document". Do the witnesses agree?
