Has Teagasc carried out an analysis of the potential implications of Ireland not reaching its 2030 climate change targets? The new maps of areas of natural constraint were released in recent weeks.. A number of areas that were included on the previous occasion have been excluded. What part can Teagasc play in an appeals process in to assist those who want to make appeals? The maps are based on science. My understanding is that Teagasc played a part in developing the maps based on the evidence it collected in respect of soil types over the past number of years. What part can Teagasc play in assisting appeals when the new appeals board is set up?
