Mr. Mark Griffin:

Again, there are standard criteria for how the money is to be invested. There was a period within which appropriate projects were identified. The fund, as the Deputy says, is administered by a fund manager who is in receipt of fees. It is important to say that, when we were looking at this, we got advice from NewERA, and it and the Department looked at the type of funds that would be appropriate for an investment of this nature. It is a widely used fund. I think there are 2,500 users in Ireland with investments of about €530 million. It is not an atypical fund. It was well understood and well known.
