I will explain. As a person from rural Ireland, I believe rural Ireland is being codded by this national broadband plan. I will take Portlaoise as an example, but every county is the same. At the moment, under the metropolitan area network, MAN, plan in Portlaoise, the operators to which we have referred, including Vodafone, Siro and the ESB, are offering a 1 Gbps service to households. That is 1,000 Mbps. What the Department is offering to the houses two miles out the road is only 3% of that or 30 Mbps.
