I do not believe everything I read in the newspapers, but that is the reason the witnesses are here to put the stories to the test to see if they are true. On 9 November, The Irish Times quotes the overall cost of the national broadband plan as being somewhere between €1.5 billion and €3 billion. Mr. Griffin is not going to respond to that. It stated the uptake for Eir's fibre-to-home initiative was only 28,000 out of a total of 200,000 homes. Is that the case?
