I move amendment No. 48:

In page 17, to delete lines 6 to 11 and substitute the following: “(6) The contribution required to be paid by a Cork local authority (i.e. Cork City Council) to the other Cork local authority (i.e. Cork County Council) in accordance with a financial settlement, the first mentioned Cork local authority shall be required to make financial provision – as a primary charge – for the said contribution in its statutory budget for the year in question, in accordance with the provisions of Part 12 Chapter 1 of the Local Government Act 2001 and any other relevant statutory instruments.”.
