The committee has been notified of communications regarding two legislative proposals by the European Union and both of these are being considered as schedule B proposals. COM (2018) 717 is a proposal to amend annexes 2 and 3 of the Agreement on the Conservation of African-Eurasian Migratory Waterbirds, AEWA, administered by the United Nations Environment Programme, to which Ireland is a contracting party. Is it agreed that no further scrutiny is required? Agreed. COM (2018) 731 is a proposal regarding a position to be adopted by the EU on the proposals to amend appendices 2 and 3 of the Berne Convention of the Conservation of European Wildlife and Natural Habitats. Is it agreed that no further scrutiny is required? Agreed.
