Lyme Disease: Discussion

9:00 am

Professor Karina Butler:

No. With such a disease there is no need for a blood test. It could be done, but there is no need to do one. If the doctor sees the patient and thinks the issue is Lyme disease, he or she will treat it as such. Very often GPs ask about it and we recommend treatment.
