Everyone should be given the same opportunities. The girls were saying that many of them had to choose between the likes of home economics and woodwork and it was split down the middle with all of the girls going into home economics and all of the boys to woodwork. Sometimes the boys wanted to do home economics andvice versabut it was not available to them.
