I thank the witnesses for being here and for the clarity they have brought to the issue. I also welcome the apology. The systems breakdown badly affected vulnerable people who are reliant on this particular payment. As stated earlier by the Chairman, the lack of communication on the issue and the inability of people to get information from officials added to the distress. If problems have been identified and fixed, why are some people still not receiving their payments? What is the position with regard to outstanding payments? Does the Department have plans to move other payments onto this platform or a similar platform?
