The monthly figure simply covers those in emergency and temporary accommodation. There is a separate count of rough sleepers twice a year in Dublin. We can take cognisance of it, but it was never intended that they would be included in the monthly figures. The monthly report is not a figure for the overall total number of homeless people. It is simply those in section 10 funded temporary and emergency accommodation. We always knew the limits of that figure. It was never intended to be a comprehensive figure.
