My final point is that the Irish Government has adopted a banks-first policy which undermines all other policymaking concerning the banking sector. The citizens and residents of the State are not well served by this policy and indeed are often victims of it. Is the ECB happy to ignore this ongoing bailout or will it investigate it? That is my final question.
