I urge the Deputy who proposed the amendment to consider the case of pregnant rape victims who live in direct provision, and tease out the potential consequences and hurt caused. The majority of people have spoken, we know the results of the referendum and there is going to be legislation. It is open to us to ensure that the services are available to a maximum number of women. Indeed, it is open to some people to draw a line down the centre and say that the women who can afford it can access a full range of healthcare and those who cannot can get to the back of the bus or whatever. My party opposes this regrettable amendment. Given the discussion that we have had here, I hope that the Deputy will see fit to withdraw her amendment and I do not think it serves a good purpose.
