I agree with the Minister's suggestion of further engagement. I do not want to suggest anything would have unintended consequences or cause problems for the medical experts and I agree that this has to be operable. When we received all the amendments the other day, I applied a basic principle of looking at them with two points in mind, namely, who we are doing it for and who we are doing it to. I tried to apply a principle that the woman was central to all of it and that is why I am concerned about this. However, I accept the body of evidence supporting where the Minister is coming from. I recognise that he has no desire to put in complicated, chilling language or anything that would be offensive. I would be happy to be part of those discussions leading up to Report Stage, along with my colleagues, to get some clarity on this issue.
