Mr. John O'Connor:
Departmental and Government policy has been not to provide for tenant purchase in the case of houses provided by approved housing bodies. It might be something that could be looked at. The decision not to allow tenant purchase was based on the funding put into them and retaining social housing. It is not the approved housing bodies that are deciding not to sell; it is due to Government policy.
