Even in that, it can take several years to get a judicial separation, never mind a divorce. Someone has to be separated for a minimum of four years before they can get a divorce. There are anomalies there that we could usefully examine.
Part of the commitment in Rebuilding Ireland is not just to build houses but to try to buy ones where there is value and so on, which is reasonable.
Many local authorities refuse to buy houses in former local authority schemes. Is there any statutory rule on that?
