If one looks at that, it was proposed that the road from Athlone to Ballinasloe had the least amount of traffic and that it should be a single carriageway. Would it not be beautiful to travel out of Galway on the duel carriageway, onto the single carriageway and then back onto the duel? Over half of the national primary routes are already duelled. Is it within the policy remit of the Department to decide that all national primary roads, which are being upgraded, are to be duelled? Can that be done?

The other road it could apply to is the one in Dromod.
