The whole issue is to streamline and modernise the use of digital technology and video conferencing. It is not proposed to change the arrangements whereby the Courts Service acts as a transmitting and receiving agency under the regulation. These functions are undertaken by the court registrar. I understand the process of centralising these functions is at an early stage of implementation. There is more to go. It is talking about making it faster, more efficient and, as I said in the presentation, it will be better for individual citizens and businesses to be far more efficient.
