No, the audit in the United Kingdom assumed that samples taken within six months of the diagnosis of cancer were diagnostic. Obviously, one does not want to include in a review the sample that actually precipitated the diagnosis because that is the one that worked. One has to have a cut-off point. In the United Kingdom it is six months. A period of 18 months is very long.
