Assuming we have an establishment day, the intention is for the noise abatement objective to kick off from then. There will be a period of eight weeks in which to produce one. The intention of the Bill is for there to be a noise abatement objective within eight weeks of it being enacted. Part VI explains how Fingal County Council will arrive at that objective, including the information to which it will refer in bringing the objective to fruition. The Deputy is right about the objective being the key first step, but we would not include a calendar date in primary legislation.
