I want to touch on community care services. I agree fully with what has been said, but I spoke to a GP in a community care centre where a physiotherapist is now employed by the HSE. It was taking anything up to six weeks for the GP to get an appointment for a patient with the physiotherapist. He could telephone a physiotherapist and get a private appointment within 24 hours. I agree fully that we need to introduce community care services at a far higher level. How do we make sure we are delivering services in a timely manner and that it is not just about employing people? That is also a challenge.
