Under this legislation, the scenario the Minister of State outlined could actually happen. The legislation still allows for both the credit servicing firm and the owner to be regulated. A customer might be able to do exactly as suggested by the Minister of State. It also allows for the credit servicing firm not to be regulated in the traditional fashion. We know the owner will become a credit servicing firm. I am happy that the section be deleted but this is an issue I want to revisit.
