Worldwide, and the countries that pay the most do best in respect of recruitment. We spend a lot of money travelling to India and the Philippines to recruit and we are very thankful that nurses from those countries come here and staff our wards because without them we would have very real deficits. However, what we are now finding is that health services in America, Canada and other countries are coming here to recruit and are succeeding because the packages they offer are very attractive.
