I raised a particular road safety issue with the clerk to the committee. It was reported in an article in The Irish Timesthat drivers who failed a Garda roadside impairment test could not be required to provide a blood or urine sample owing to an error in the legislation. That is an urgent matter of concern for many involved in road safety. Will the Minister update the committee in that regard?
