On the CervicalCheck issue, I do not understand why everyone is using the word "audit" all day. I would have thought it was very simple. If somebody is diagnosed with cervical cancer, the obvious thing to do would be to look at whatever information is on file in the system about that person. That should include any screening that was done. An audit is not needed. If somebody is diagnosed, the first thing should be to look at his or her medical history. We should not call that "audit", it is basic patient management. I do not see why checking a person's medical records has to be called an audit process.
