That was brought up repeatedly when the SDGs were being developed because it is needed to finance all of them. Domestic revenue mobilisation is much more sustainable than aid. It has just been diverted into goal 17, which concerns partnerships for the goals, and the goal relating to sustainable cities. It is a pity that given there was a global tide for it that there was not more of a trend for it at the time.
