In the running of a Department of this State, when someone retires, a recruitment process should be commenced when an interim or acting Secretary General is in place. The delay for eight months is unacceptable. There is no personal charge against any individual but this demonstrates an absence of speed by just leaving it while another group or implementation process is put in place.

The Minister did not answer my question. Has the management board meeting been split in two? It is a simple reform so the answer is "Yes" or "No".
