I do not believe so. It would be forward looking in that we would say the funds had to be regulated to buy these loans. The risk is that losing bidders would mean losing liquidity and the banks may get a lower price. I am not saying this is definitely the case because Cerberus clearly has found a way to make this work. I do not know whether it would be much of an issue for the other funds.
