I would also explain that if the result of one smear is negative, that is good but that in order to benefit from the programme, women need to enter into it in a continuous manner. That will improve their chances of not getting cancer in the future. The Deputy is correct when he says that it might give false reassurance but it is, on the other hand, accurate.
