I welcome the Taoiseach to the meeting and thank him for attending. My question is in respect of Sláintecare. It is a unique cross-party report and nearly one year old. It looks at a ten year vision for our health service, including multi-annual budgets and long-term planning. It is a wide-ranging report which has quite radical reforms in it, particularly in respect of reforming governance within the HSE and the Department of Health. Why has it taken so long for the Government to respond to this report? It was indicated that the Minister for Health, Deputy Simon Harris, would respond by the end of December 2017; yet in May 2018 we still have not had that Government response.
