Colleagues will recognise that it is an unusual format to have three committees together. However, we are not looking at disability in a general way. This meeting is particularly focused on employment and retention in employment. I know there are other areas. I acknowledge the assistance of Senator Dolan in setting up this meeting. He attended the committee informally to give advice and direction on how we might pursue the issue. Before calling the witnesses, I invite the Senator to speak.
