A range of different bodies was consulted. Obviously, the HSE will be a substantial source of expertise from our point of view. The expertise in this country, such as it is, resides in two main sources. At the practitioner level, it resides within the public services. From a professional point of view, it resides with the professional training bodies. The Faculty of Radiology is the pre-eminent such body in terms of medical practice and use of radiation.
